Is ScorDial free? Does it need an account?
ScorDial works entirely on-device; no account or sign-in is required to use your library.
Can I move everything to a new device?
Yes — share your setlists as .scoreset files (AirDrop, Files, or any transfer method) and open them on the new device. Songs, order, keys and annotations all carry over, even across platforms.
What file types can I import?
PDF, images/photos (converted to PDF), camera scans, .html songs, MIDI files, MusicXML / .scordial charts, .4ss setlists, and ScorDial's own .scordial / .scoreset files.
A big scanned PDF is slow — what can I do?
Use Lighten PDF. It rebuilds the score as a compact rasterized PDF (annotations included) that loads and flips fast; the original stays in your library.
Does transposing a song in one setlist change it everywhere?
No. Keys set inside a setlist apply to that setlist only. The song's home key — and its key in every other setlist — is untouched.
Do my annotations show up when I share to a non-ScorDial user?
Yes — use Share PDF. The receiver gets a standard PDF with your ink, text and staves baked in, viewable in any PDF reader.
